I had a ton of fun with this; loved the atmosphere, the overall look was consistent, and the core gameplay involving using the lantern to see the ghosts are a cool way to do it.
Only two tiny issues:
Getting the Tiger(?)'s door open was a little awkward because the item you had to find was difficult for me, and I felt like this lantern drank oil like a fat kid drinks diet coke.
I'd love to see a full game based on this. Solid 9/10 job here developers and I hope you keep making games, you have a great understanding of fundamentals here!

Thank you for playing!

As for now, we don't plan on expanding it, I might fix some bugs tho (the lighting glitching and the tiger staying visible weren't intended)

And thanks so much for the nice words :) means a lot.

The game is unbeatable at my framerate because of how the cellar door opens in the Right-puzzle room with the bird pirate. It swings like a revolving door and then is too narrow to squeeze in or out of it.

Hi there, sorry to hear that!
You might have to disable VSYNC in the options menu, because it messes with the framerate and some animations, that are bound to the framerate, will display wrong.

Ahh, I had changed the framerate to 120, can't recall if I had Vsync on or off if that helps at all.

will fix asap, in the meantime you can disable vsync and set maxfps to 60, then try again
